There is great satisfaction in the European projects network, especially amongst the partners working on equal opportunities and custom-tailored education for students with special needs. Yesterday, David Sassoli was elected President of the European Parliament after the second ballot with 345 votes on a total of 667.
Europe needs to "retrieve the spirit of its founding fathers … bringing together development, social protection and respect for the environment [and] renewing its sustainable investments,” explained David Sassoli in his first address after his election to the EU Parliament. The newly-elected President also underlined his commitment to increase “gender equality” and promote “a greater role of women in the top positions of economics, politics and social policy.”
Davide Sassoli has recently also attacked the fake news that drive the false conception of a correlation between vaccines and autism.
