Maker Fashion and Soccer Pitch are two projects that the Fondazione Mondo Digitale has selected amongst those presented for the Makers Call, launched for the Maker Faire 2014. Both projects were developed in the Fab Lab at the Rome Innovation Gym.
The first prototype, which was developed for the Maker Fashion Project, was unveiled last week during a popular television programme and will be presented at the Rome Maker Faire.
Soccer Pitch is the second project developed by secondary school students with the help of Roman Makers and the Multi-sector Network for Educational Robotics. The students developed the football pitch that will be used for RomeCup 2015 in the digital manufacturing workshop with innovative tools such as laser cutters, lathes and cutting plotters.
The new pitch will be tested at the Rome Maker Faire and will be used for the Robotic demos prepared by the World Robotics Champions. The appointment is for October 3-5 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
