Children from five year-three classes at the Istituto comprensivo Piaget-Majorana in Rome have organized an exhibition with the works they create over the course of the year at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab.
Federica Pellegrini describes this exciting and intense project: “The labs have allowed the children to work on a wide range of areas, from vocabulary to poetry, anatomy and materials technology. This exhibition represents a payback for all of their new experiences through their drawings, conceptual maps and texts. A particularly interesting moment was when the young children explained technology to their parents. Their mothers and fathers appreciated the familiarity with which the children have understood and learned to use these new tools, but they were surprised when they witnessed the children’s creativity and teamwork.”
