The Phyrtual Innovation Gym provides schools with eight different digital environments: Fab Lab, Robotics Centre, Internet of Things, Coding Lab, Immersive Lab, Game Lab, Video Lab and Mobile Technology for Learning Lab.
Teachers find innovative environments they can share and expert coaches that help out who is less familiar with new technology.
The following labs are on this morning from 9 am to 1 pm:
- IMMERSIVE LAB – with a class from the Rome Itis Heinrich Herz accompanied by Prof Marco De Luca and coached by Domenico Zungri.
- FAB LAB – with a second year first-degree secondary school class from IC Via Tor de' Schiavi accompanied by Prof Fabio Silvetti and coached by Mauro del Santo.
- ROBOTIC CENTER a year five class from the IC Piazza De Cupis Primary School accompanied by Headmaster Marcella Zarra.
At 11:45 am two labs (coding and robotics) will be held outside the Phyrtual Innovation Gym for the Microsoft Edu Day (see news].
During the afternoon, the Fab Lab will be held by students from Sapienza University of Rome.
