Serious Game at RomeCup

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is bringing its experience with learning games to RomeCup 2019 (April 2-5). The “Bambin Gesù” Pediatric Hospital stand will allow participants to experience rehab activities with immersive video game tools.

At the Fondazione Mondo Digitale stand, teachers will be able to test a serious game, designed by European Project Accord. The on-line role game allows users to actively experiment with conflict concepts and dynamics in simulated scenarios.

The game is an integral part of a 30-hour on-line course on conflict resolution for teachers and coaches working in intercultural contexts. The course is officially recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research.

Proposed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, an accredited agency for teacher training (Directive N. 170 - March 21, 2016), the game was developed in collaboration with the “Federico II” University of Naples, Aidvanced Srl (Italy), University of Barcelona (Spain), “Friedrich Alexander Erlange” University of Nurnberg (Germany), University of Vienna (Austria), and University of Antwerp (Belgium), as part of Project ACCORD - Attain Cultural Integration through COnflict Resolution skill Development.
