On Friday June 18, the MOBIAGE Project: an opportunity for elderly people and senior migrants will present the main results reached by Project MOBIAGE and the present situation.
 
The event will be held at the Università degli Studi “G. Marconi” (via Plinio 44, Roma) from 9.00 to 1.30 pm. Cecilia Stajano will represent the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and present the work that has been done for senior citizens and immigrants.
 
As part of the Community Action Programme for Lifelong Learning, Italy, Spain, Romania and Belgiu are experimenting a lifelong learning programme for adults. The pilot involves over 1000 senior citiziens, 500 student-tutors and 50 teachers. The Project - Silver, Stimulating ICT Learning for Active EU Elders – is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with the support of various local partners.
 
The Centro Enea, an experimental project implemented by the Municipality of Rome together with the Ministry of the Interior, hosts about 400 refugees. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale manages the activities of the Centre’s Internet Café and promotes L2 Italian and Computer courses.
