As part of the celebrations for the World Refugee Day 2010, promoted by the United Nations Refugee Agency, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale has organized “I’m In” a charity soccer game.
On Friday June 18 at 7 pm, the guests of the Centro Enea and Pietralata guest centres, who come from Somalia, Afghanistan, Eritrea, Sudan and the Ivory Coast, will challenge teams from various Roman schools: Itis E.Fermi, Liceo scientifico I. Newton, Liceo scientifico G. Peano e Itis H.Hertz.
The matches will be hosted by the Centro sportivo Santa Maria (via Matteo Boiardo n. 28). The matches will be commented on by Federico Ghilardi, Maya Amenduni and Simone Conte, renowned voice of the long-standing Gianni Elsner “Te lo faccio vedere chi sono io” radio programme broacast by Radio Sei, the event media partner.
Other guests include Gianluca Di Girolami, President of the Liberi Nantes Football Club, the first soccer team composed entirely of players who were forced to emigrate and representatives of Shoot For Change, a platform that brings together the initiatives of photographers, artists and designers in order to improve life.
