The play is project of the Teatro Stabile Scuole in Rome’s 13th District that has involved more than 200 students, 20 parents, 10 professors and five partners schools: IC Fanelli, IC Fenoglio, IC Mozart, IC Traiano and IIS Via Andrea da Garessio.
The play addresses the issue of the rights of minors and is inspired by the story of Iqbal Masih, the Pakistani child who has become the symbol of the fight against child labour throughout the world.
The Project for Continuity and Connections amongst the Schools of the 13th District through Theatre, promoted by the lead school in via Garessio, has started 10 theatrical labs in the partner schools and a music therapy laboratory as well as a theatre company formed by students, professors and parents.
