Project Grandparents On-line. Everyone’s Young at the Post Office helps citizens aged 65 and older to discover mobile communications and smartphone and tablet services such as the ones provided by the Italian Postal Service.
Yesterday, a new edition of the project, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Poste Italiane, kicked off at IIS Amedeo D'Aosta in L’Aquila [see news Grandparents On-line in L’Aquila].
Today, courses begin in four other cities: Catania, Rome, Ancona and Cagliari.
In Ancona, the digital literacy courses will be held at the IIS Savoia Benincasa School, managed by Headmaster Alessandra Rucci. School activities will be coordinated by Professors Daniela Canalini and Gabriella Pomili. Eleonora Curatola will be present on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
In Sardinia, over-65s will attend courses at th eIIS G.M. Dettori School in Cagliari, managed by Headmaster Roberto Pianta. The project is Anna Rita Vizzari, PNSD Representative at the Regional School Department will be at the course kick off together with Cecilia Stajano, School Innovation Coordinator at the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
In Rome, the project pilot will be organised by the B. Croce-Aleramo School, managed by Headmaster Emilia D'Aponte, with New Technology Professors Stefania Fragliasso and Maurizio Rocci. è affidato a Francesca Del Duca, Phyrtual Innovation Gym Coordinator, will be present on behalf of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
In Catania, the IIS G. Marconi School, managed by Headmaster Ugo Pirrone, will hold courses with Professor Vincenzina Pastore, who has trained entire generations of digital coaches such as Simone [see news: A Tutor’s Career].
