Once again, the social promotion association Bambini+Diritti is promoting the “B+D for Popolo Saharawi” Project that will welcome ten children from the Saharawi refugee camps to Rome as Ambassadors of Peace.
The Bambini+Diritti Association is looking for volunteers to look after the children with various activities (games, labs, medical visits, guided tours). Shifts are from Monday to Sunday either 9 am – 2 pm or 2 pm – 7 pm.
In the meantime the Santa Beatrice school is still collecting items of need. Mattresses, clothes and games are plenty, but they still need: personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, conditioner, shampoo, soap, brushes, toilet paper), shoes (even used, but in good conditions, sizes about 32-33...); single sheets (10); towels, backpacks (5 small kindergarten like types and 10 bigger ones for elementary school children); underwear (underpants, socks, t-shirts); and pillows (10).
