Registration is underway for the 7th edition of “Rome Cup – Excellence in Robotics in Rome” that will be held in Rome in the prestigious Temple of Adrian (first two days) and at the Rome Campidoglio (third day). The initiative is promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with the support of the Rome Chamber of Commerce.
Last generation robotic prototypes, competitions and friendly challenges amongst students of all ages for the national selection process and didactic labs to explain the full potential of Robotics … Rome is gearing up to welcome the excellence of Robotics to this ancient Roman temple erected for Adrian, enlightened ruler of an ancient empire characterized by efficiency and splendor. In fact, splendor and efficiency are key words for this new promising edition of the Rome Cup.
The event returns to the “three events in one” winning formula: competitions, showcase area with labs and workshops and final phase with the Awards Ceremony.
Competitions: the first two days will host the national selections for the “International City of Rome Robotics Trophy” in the soccer, dance, rescue, explorer and cospace theatre categories. In total, nine prizes – one for each category – will be assigned.
Showcase Area: companies, research centers, universities and schools will bring the Italian excellency in Robotics to Rome and provide visitors with labs and workshops for students and teachers.
Awards Ceremony: on the third day the final competition phases will be held at the Rome Campidoglio Sala della Protomoteca. The Awards Ceremony will follow the final competition rounds with important guests from Institutions and Accademia.
