Officine Robotiche will participate in RomeCup 2017 (Rome, March 15-17) to remind us that robotics is not just research, industry and service, but also a fun hobby, passion, and challenge.

And who better than Carlo Ottaviani, Public Relations Manager for Officine Robotiche, can present the ludic – and even boisterous – side of robotics?

To prove how involving robotics can be for amateurs and professionals alike, the Officine Robotiche will present the “Cavallo di battaglia” or Battle Horse at RomeCup 2017: a line follower robot.  Line-following competitions are open to robot enthusiasts at all levels, including robotic kits and self-built robots with advanced and innovative solutions. Another competition trial will include a closed circuit, which robots must complete three times as rapidly as possible.

The Officine robotiche will participate in the showcase area and competitions together with students from the Sarrocchi School in Siena.
