Today, Thursday, March 2, at 5:30 pm, ten Coding Girls have been invited to Villa Taverna, the residence of the Ambassador of the United States in Italy, to see the premiere of “Hidden Figures.” (The movie will be projected in cinemas beginning on March 8.)
The film narrates the story of three scientists - Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn and Mary Jackson – who worked on the NASA Mission with John Glenn. And thanks to them, Glenn was the first American astronaut to orbit the Earth.
The ten girls that will attend the premiere are high school students at the Peano School in Monterotondo and the Volterra School in Ciampino, as well as two university students.
