Public Administration Intelligence

Artificial intelligence can be used to manage democratic processes, to act as a guide in museums and to provide support for teaching. Radio Programme Smart City, conducted by Alberto Melis on Radio24, dedicated a series of reports to mapping the first cases of artificial intelligence applied to public services.

On June 26, Alfonso Molina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, described the experience of Mathisis - Managing Affective learning through intelligent atoms and smart interaction, a project financed by the European Commission as part of the Horizon 2020 Programme, which involves 18 European countries, including Italy.

The objective of Project Mathisis is to “develop advanced learning platforms that can be used on any type of device. Sophisticated artificial intelligence applications adapt the app to any user and perceive his/her emotions and concentration level in real-time, adapting as necessary.”

The “Smart City, Voci e Luoghi dell'innovazione” radio programme is broadcast Monday to Friday at 8:50 pm.
