Project Silver Continues

On May 28, in Liege (Belgium), the second case study of Silver, Stimulating ICT Learning for Active Eu Elders will be analysed. The project aims to create a sustainable programme for lifelong learning of the adult population based on the inter-generational model experimented in Italy with the Grandparents on the Internet Programme.

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Perspectives ASBL promote Silver in two Belgian cities: Liege and Flémalle. The three pilot schools that participate in the project involve over 60 senior citizens and 20 young Belgian tutors as well as three coordinating teachers.

Three course levels are available:

  • Basic Digital Literacy Course
  • Social Networking Course
  • E-Government Course

Sivlia Celani, Project Silver Coordinator for the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will participate in the analysis of the case study together with Researcher Rosanna Gulla.
