The Phyrtual Innovation Gym presents a new lab for learning how to draw in 2D and use a laser cutter. The course, open to anyone above age 15, will be held on Thursday, June 23 and Thursday, June 30. Both lessons will be held from 6-9 pm for a total of 9 hours.
The objective of the course is to provide participants with basic notions of vectorial drawing and apply them to material cutting. Participants will use InkScape, an open source software graphics programme and learn about the most common tools used to draw on computers.
The course is practical. Participants will experiment with tools in the Fab Lab and proceed by trial and error in order to become autonomous as quickly as possible. Participants will also be asked to develop a project and produce an object.
Coaches are Mauro Del Santo, Fab Lab Coordinator at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym and Mattia Bonavolontà.
