Cecilia Stajano, Coordinator of the TeleMouse Project, explains the Project to Ecoradio (Le voci del pianeta, 23 December 2009).
The courses are held in the computer labs of schools throughout the Capital. The participants are over-sixties from elderly centres throughout Rome. Classes of twenty-five students are organized for each school participating in the project. Young Roman students teach the courses.
The Telemouse initiative is based on the “Grandparents on the Internet” model launched in 2003. What are the main differences between these two projects?
The course covers the abc of computers in 15 lessons ranging from how to turn a PC on to Internet navigation.
