A Passion for Science

 

How does one choose a university programme? Students in their last year of second-degree secondary school will be helped by a Nao Robot, that will show what it means to work hands-on in a successful new sector such as robotics.
Today, from 9:30 to 12:30 am, the Robotics Centre at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym on via del Quadraro 102 will welcome students from the IIS M. Buonarroti School in Frascati and their teacher, Elvira Aquaro. They will be helped by Sapienza engineers to communicate with the Nao Robot via the Choregraphe programming programme.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Rome Sapienza University “A. Ruberti” Departement of Commputer, Control and Management Engineering in collaboration with Media Direct organised three-hour intensive labs at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Robotics Centre every Wednesday morning.
Prof Paola Faggiani, a collaborator of the school headmaster, describes the experience as exciting, fun and with a great didactic value.
