Exhibitions, shows and events … for two days the XXI Aprile School Institute in the 299th “Circolo Didattico” of Rome has been set up to provide information about the school year. Every available space, from the entrance hall to the garden, has been used to exhibit posters, showcases and small stands to present the many different projects that were completed during the school year, often with the help of the families.
In the library, the students of classes IV B and IV C explain Project Digital Bridge, through photos, stories and drawings from their trip to the Sahara. (14-21 March 2009).
In the afternoon, the plight of the Saharawi was presented in the school theatre. The two reports were prepared by school children: Travel Diary to the Saharawi Refugee Camps by the 299th Circolo Didattico and the projection of the documentary filmed by the students of Itis Einstein, A Drop of Water in the Sea.
Last March, the Circolo Didattico XXI Aprile School hosted the first videoconference with the Saharawi people.
