"The integration of immigrants and their children in Italy. Good practices and indicators.”
The research project, which will be published by the OECD, will not only concentrate its attention on the insertion of immigrants on the job market, but also address a series of related issues: living conditions, qualification levels, integration in schooling and training of immigrants in Italy.
On account of the essentially empirical nature of the research project, the OECD has planned 2 exploratory missions to Italy to gather information for the Report via interviews with ministries, local agencies, public offices, immigrant services, work agencies, trade unions, research centres and third sector subjects working for immigrants.
On February 19 at 1:00 pm, accompanied by an IDOS Caritas Migrantes researcher, the delegation will meet the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to learn more about the work that promotes the integration of immigrants through the use of new technologies. The delegation will also visit the Centro Enea in Rome, where the FMD manages activities at the e-Cafè.
