Students are currently busy with their first experience of “school-work innovation” (as we have decided to call this new student experience in artisanal enterprises). Aspiring fashion designers from the Istituto d’Istruzione secondaria superiore A. Diaz in Rome are involved in internships at the Antica Sartoria Borgetti and the La Civetta Vanitosa jewellery workshop.
As soon as the internship organised by Project The Italian Makers ended, they were in the Fab Lab at the Rome Phyrtual Innovation Gym to experiment with creative solutions and design their first collection that will be presented at the second edition of the Maker Faire, which will be held at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome on October 3-5, 2014.
