Today, the Istituto comprensivo Piazza Capri, managed by Head Mistress Anna Maria Altieri, will inaugurate a new node in the National Network of Innovation Gyms, a "creative studio" dedicated to storytelling.
Storytelling, which is related to specific educational objectives, is an excellent tool to promote literacy and encourage students to communicate with confidence. The ability to organise events according to an orderly temporal sequence helps students to give shape to their ideas, make them clear and accessible and improve communication.
Valentino Catricalà, Artistic Director of the Media Art Festival will be present at the inauguration together with Federica Pellegrini, Education Manager at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab.
The lab has a range of interactive tools for storytelling, including:
- Story sequencer – a recording wall panel
- Speaking recordable photo album
- Interactive Wall – interactive recordable wall
- Lego Kit for storytelling
- Cameras for Stop Motion
