We would like to share with our community involved in active ageing this strategic pointer from the Municipality of Turin - SFEP Department, regarding Project SIforAGE - Social Innovation on Active and Healthy Ageing for Sustainable Economic Growth, financed by the European Commission as part of the 7th Framework Programme.
The project has developed a range of activities addressing policy-makers and researchers in order to improve their decision-making skills, especially those that influence policy the following aspects of active:
- Participation
- Cure models
- Mobility
- Work
- Housing
In order to promote the work of the SIforAGE Consrotium and diffuse this knowledge, the Municipality of Turin has developed a Mutual Learning Platform that allows users to exchange project information and share studies and research on a range of issues. Moreover, this tool provides an analysis of the innovation level involved in the development of public policies addressing active ageing.
