To date, 5 theses will address the MAF (2 in Rome, 1 in Pisa and 2 in Milan). In particular, these theses will analyse the innovative format experimented by the Rome Media Art Festival and its communication strategy to attract large audiences to new art forms.
The students can take advantage of an important tool: the volume/catalogue entitled “Media Art. Towards a New Definition of Arts” that was developed for the “From Body to Mind. New -Generations of Italian Media Artists” exhibition that was held at the Centrale Montemartini Museum in Rome and at the Rome Città Educativa. The volume, published by Gli Ori and edited by Valentino Catricalà, gathers the reflections of major international media art experts.
