2nd lesson – Legal Issues
17 December 2008, 4-6 pm
Centro Enea per i rifugiati
Rome, via Boccea  530

On Wednesday, consultants from the Kpmg Network, one of the most important professional service agencies for international enterprises, will address two fundamental issues concerning full citizenship: housing and work.

With the help of new technologies and especially the web, the consultants will illustrate the rules and documents that are necessary to live in Italy to the guests of the Centro Enea. What are the regulations for living in an apartment in your new country? What is the role of the real estate agent? Examine key words such as taxes and rent. The course will provide a set of guidelines suggesting links and ideas to find further information on these issues.

The same methodology will be used to address the second issue, work, which calls for a more operative approach. At the end of the lesson, which will identify the main phases of searching for a job, from the assessment phase to candidatures, the participants will prepare their CVs.

This project, which aims to promote the social inclusion of the more fragile population categories through the use of new technologies, the young guests of the Centro Enea will be trained to use multimedia programmes and business object applications to continue learning and continuous learning courses independently.
