The call for local activists has been extended to October 23. Candidates, besides working with project coordinators on implementing and developing local activities, will work towards the following objectives:
- Promote FMD mission and values to create new collaborative networks, synergies, alliances and opportunities for local and national development;
- Implement, following specific objectives agreed on with FMD, educational projects and programmes for a wide range of targets (citizens, students, elders, etc.);
- Promote FMD initiatives through on- and off-line communication to identify new audiences, partners and stakeholders.
Candidates should possess exceptional communicational skills, a solid understanding of local needs and have a working knowledge of research-action. They must be capable of interacting with a wide range of interlocutors, ranging from institutions to schools, be proactive and meet objectives and deadlines, even on short notice. Candidates should also have a good understanding of communications and social network communication tools and processes to drive community interests and promote initiatives, even “on-life.” Moreover, candidates should possess problem-solving competences and have an interest in social work in the non-profit sector.
The contract will be based on the candidate’s effective professional experience.
We are urgently looking for candidates in all Italian cities with a priority in the following regions: Puglia, Piedmont, Veneto, Tuscany, Campania, Umbria and Marche.
