A Library for Everyone

Yesterday - Tuesday, Jan. 16 - the Fabrizio Giovenale Library (Via Fermo Corni) officially inaugurated the first maker space in a public Roman library. The project has been developed by the Goethe-Institut Rome in collaboration with Biblioteche di Roma. The initiative is organised by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.

 

The space in the Fabrizio Giovenale Library in Casal dei Pazzi was inaugurated at the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Rome Luca Bergamo and “Roma Semplice” Councillor Flavia Marzano, together with Paolo Fallai, President of Biblioteche di Roma; Gabriele Kreuter-Lenz, Goethe-Institut Director; Mirta Michilli, Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Maurizio Caminito, Presidente of the “Forum del Libro.”
