Last week, the Telemousecourse held at the Lucio Lombardo Radice School in Rome ended. The students were grandpas and grandmas who faced computers and Internet for the first time in their lives. “I started below zero, not from zero!” points out Grandma Graziella, followed by her tutor Valentina.
Guido and Antonio also tell Ana Lain about their experience. Now they have an extra resource to keep informed: not just the newspaper, but the computer, too.
Coordinating teacher Maurizio Rocci doesn’t hide the initial difficulties faced by the programme, but thanks to the enthusiasm of the elder students and the young tutors, the course ended up nearly doubling the originally planned 15 lessons.
