From today, Monday, March 5 until Friday, March 9, Matteo Viscogliosi and Anna Uttaro will be in Athens to participate in Train for Trainers for Welcome, a 21-month project implemented as part of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Programme (AMIF).
The training, hosted by NGO IASIS, aims to train two resources, for each partner organisation, in the implementation of educational courses for third country nationals and the use of new learning technologies.
The training course is transnational. It represents an opportunity to learn new intervention strategies used in other countries and test them on a pilot programme with 10 asylum seekers and refugees in each of the partner countries.
The course includes four main areas:
•Coding with Scratch
•Digital Storytelling
•Digital Journalism
•Soft Skills and Employability
During the course of the week, Anna and Matteo will host a workshop on Digital Storytelling with Laser Book and Stop Motion.
