Activities are underway for Project "2R - Reset&Recode", implemented with CPIA 3, directed by Ada Maurizio. The project aims to promote the social and professional re-insertion of young convicts at the “Casal del Marmo” Juvenile Detention Centre, introducing them to computers, coding and digital manufacturing through innovative educational activities.

Today, the first digital manufacturing lab will be held by Matteo Viscogliosi, Fab Lab Coordinator at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym, with the help of Valentina Gelsomini.

Participants will acquire knowledge and know-how concerning the use of 3D printers. The lab, based on the conception, digital representation and production, will allow participants to enjoy highly gratifying and stimulating experience on the use of computer tools. Knowledge of digital craftsmanship is a fundamental element for understanding the production mechanisms, dynamics and outlook of technological and economic development.
