The project has implemented a concrete information and communication service for immigrants as well as providing help in locating housing and work. Three permanent centres and a mobile information point have allowed the project to reach a series of strategic points and even the most isolated citizens, such as the adult women that rarely have contacts with the external world. Moreover, the project also implemented a website and produced a multi-lingual brochure on “Living in the Province of L’Aquila – Useful Information and a Guide to Local Services."
The mobile information point managed by the Fraterna Tau Onlus Association provided solutions to more than 50 issues presented by foreign nationals.
The Leonardo and Nuovi Orizzonti Social Cooperatives have activated a new permanent information point in Secinaro that was not initially planned by the project and also provided consultancy services inside schools. Over 300 citizens from Albania, Macedonia, Romania and Morocco took advantage of the services provided by the information points.
