After the young makers participating in the soldering lab, the Phyrtual Innovation Gym welcomes the Arduino User Group of Rome, the artisans participating in The Italian Makers and the Open Hub experts. Since last Friday, the Phyrtual Innovation Gym has welcomed a whirlwind of different professions and competences.
Two traditional craftsmen participating in Project The Italian Makers explored the potential of the equipment and machinery at the Fab Lab to study possible applications: Filomena Tolino (La Civetta Vanitosa) and Maurizio Pastore, a carpenter specializing in the creation of wooden mosaics. Mastro Pastore immediately began cutting wooden parts for the frames he is creating with the students at Itis Pacinotti in Fondi.
Two intensive 8-hour workshops were held by Open Hub experts Marco Serra and Marco Contini for the Padawan Business School, who introduced participants to the Canvas Method.
Meanwhile, in the Ideation Room, the Arduino User Group of Rome were involved in a creative brainstorming session.
