Inclusion Logbooks

Educational robotics and cooperative learning are just two of the key words for the integration project promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Google with schools in Lazio and Campania.

The main objective is to eliminate barriers and overcome differences through interactive robotics. The IC Via Mar dei Caraibi school in Rome has created work groups and documents all of its activities and progress with Lego We Do in a logbook.

The schools in Campania have just completed their teacher training phase and is starting the hands-on activities with the NXTs.

Teachers, school administrators, students, local residents and families are called upon to participate in the social inclusion of the most disadvantaged students, starting from the school context.

An important issue is that knowledge must benefit everyone, especially the weakest categories. Thus, Google promotes scholarships for students with disabilities in Europe and Israel. The deadline for the first call is February 1.
