One of the first signatories of the National Network Agreement on Educational Robotics, Iperlab was created in 2005, in Calabria, to create a community for research, training and cooperation.
Thanks to the efforts of President Salvatore Napoli, Iperlab has come in close contact with the world of schools and robotics. In fact, he has created “Local Robotics Didactic Laboratories” to promote scientific and technological knowledge to students and teachers and orients youth towards the new professions. At present, he is working on creating a travelling “robotic playroom” through Project Miro (Microrobotics).
The organization is firmly rooted locally and the projects developed by schools have been very successful, contributing to the creation of good practices and the development of an on-line network to promote educational robotics.
