Next summer, from June to September, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will double the summer camps held at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym. The FMD will host two summer camps: Bio-making Summer School (Genetics and Digital Tools, for older children) and a new edition of the English Summer Camp for younger children with an original introduction to self-enterprise.
BIOMAKING SUMMER SCHOOL
BIO-MAKING SUMMER SCHOOL
Promoted in collaboration with the Fondazione Golinelli, the first edition of the “Bio-making Summer School” on Genetics and Digital Tools is a course of excellence for second-degree secondary school students in Italy.
A unique opportunity to experiment with the innovative genetics techniques used in the most advanced labs around the world and build one of the tools that have revolutionised Genetics: a thermal cycler.
The summer camp will also provide participants with the opportunity to reflect on current scientific issues and understand the importance of science and technology. Ideal for all students who are passionate about science.
Who: students aged 16-18 who like biology, science, technology, innovation and e making.

When: June, 18-22, 2018, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm

ENGLISH SUMMER CAMP
This year, the summer camp for children aged 7-13 will be dedicated to making, but not only … It will also include sports, innovative labs on new technology held at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym and an original self-enterprise activity for children that will be held in English.
Every day, after the sports activities organised by the Netensia Association, the children will participate in ludic activities held in English via the Lean Startup method, which will emulate the processes necessary to start up an enterprise.
In the afternoon, the children will learn to build their “enterprise products” in the digital manufacturing, coding, video and immersive reality labs.
