Growing Up During the Emergency

Growing Up During the Emergency

The Lazio Region, which has over 40,000 haematological and oncological patients undergoing active treatment, was one of the first regions to kick-off the anti-Covid vaccination drive for its most vulnerable patients. How are onco-haematological patients, both personally and in terms of assistance, during this ongoing emergency period caused by the diffusion of the coronavirus? What role can the school community play in their cure?

The next event scheduled for Project Factor J, to be held on March 23 at 3:30 pm, will address haematology. It will include an institutional session and an interactive webinar organised by experts from the Italian Association against Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma (AIL) and coordinated by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. The event will be introduced by Lazio Region Health Councillor Alessio D’Amato together with the project partners.

Factor J, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with Janssen Italia, the pharmaceutical branch of the Johnson & Johnson Group, educates young men and women to develop their emotional intelligence, respect “uniqueness” and “diversity” and consider illness as an element of life.
