The next and final appointment for the #MissioneNonni Grandparents Mission, dedicated to on-line services, will be held live on YouTube (May 25, 11:00 – 12:00). How can elders, who should only leave their houses for serious needs, follow the health recommendations and remain independent? The title of the lesson is “Nonno è in casa, ma non si fa mancare niente!”
Teacher Cristiana Zambon [@ritaglidiClass] will teach her students how to introduce their grandparents to on-line shopping and home delivery services, how to find the closest services and save screenshots with useful information published on leaflets and brochures.
The mini “family format” course will be held by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale for the TIM Maestri d'Italia initiative. With the help of technology, elders can feel closer to others during this period of physical distancing required by the health emergency.
The drawings published on this page are some of those produced by primary school children for their previous missions to help their grandparents.
Children from seven primary schools will be on mission next week:
- Classes 3-5 at the Istituto comprensivo Via Poppea Sabina in Rome, Headmistress Stefania Forte
- Classes 3A and 3B at the Salvo D'Acquisto School, Class 5A at the Puccini School, and the Viale Opita Oppio School of the Istituto comprensivo Viale dei Consoli 16 in Rome with Headmistress Alessia Lo Bosco and teachers
- Class 3C at the Don Albera School of the Istituto comprensivo Rita Levi Montalcini in Rome with Headmistress Maria Pia Foresta and teachers Cinzia and Annalisa
- Class 2B at the San Biagio School of the Istituto comprensivo in Codogno with teacher Luisa
- Class 2A of the Istituto comprensivo in Cernobbio with teacher Emilia Bianchi
