Yesterday, Tuesday, January 12, the IIS Croce-Aleramo School in Rome, managed by Headmaster Emilia D’Aponte, opened its doors to over-sixty-five students. Together with the Primo Levi School, it is participating in Project “Grandparents On-line. Everyone’s Young at the Post Office,” promoted by Poste Italiane together with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
Prof Alfonso Liparulo, who coordinates the project at the school, considers it a full school-work experience. The protagonists are students in year three who will help the older citizens to understand the full potential of the web over the course of 15 lessons.
The appointment is for Tuesdays at 1 pm in the school computer lab (Viale B. Bardanzellu).
Here are some of the impressions gathered by Rosy D’Elia on the first course day.
