One of the first courses to kick off the seventh edition of Grandparents on the Internet, the course dedicated to over-sixty year olds, will be held ini the VIII District of Rome in the Computer Lab of the 182° Circolo didattico Federico Fellini School. It will be attended by the grandparents of the Torre Spaccata Elderly Centre, one of the largest in Rome.
Nearly 600 elders will participate in the daily cultural and recreational activities organised by the elderly centre. In particular, this year, a number of the centre’s members have accepted the challenge of learning how to use a computer and navigate the Internet.
Ms. Bianca Ruggero, President of the Torre Spaccata Elderly Centre, firmly believes in the need to bring senior citizens into closer touch with new technologies in order to improve their lives.
