Today (Monday, Oct. 2), it’s Grandparents’ Day in Italy, a new national day which was created 12 years ago to “celebrate the fundamental role played by grandparents in families and society”
(Proclamation of Grandparents' Day, GU, N. 187 – Aug. 12, 2005).
Our special best wishes go out to all the grandparents who in these years have participated in our digital literacy programme for the elderly. And to all the grandchildren, real or virtual, who accepted the challenge to tutor the elders and become knowledge volunteers.
