Today, over-65s in Chivasso, part of the metropolitan city of Turin, return to school.
The digital literacy labs for Project Grandparents On-line will be hosted by IIS Europa Unita, managed by Headmaster Anna Boggio. Professor Anna Facchini will coordinate the activities.
The twenty over-65s are equally distributed amongst men and women and will be tutored by the school students.
The second edition of “Grandparents On-line. Everyone’s Young at teh Post Office,” the digital literacy project promoted by Poste Italiane and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, involves 20 municipalities in various Italian regions to teach elders to use the Internet and introduce them to digital culture with the help of the young teachers.
