Sixteen Italian courses have been activated for over 300 foreign citizens, half of which women, ranging from basic to A2 Italian language courses. Custom-tailored courses have been developed for 50 citizens with limited schooling. Workshops will be held to train trainers with ICT and Italian language experts. Course participants come from 30 different countries. The project includes 17 interactive didactic modules on ICT and safety. An Inter-institutional Agreement has been signed for the full social inclusion of immigrant citizens. This is project “SI – School of Italian.”

On April 17, the protagonists of Project SI – School of Italian – Integrated Italian Language and Culture Courses in Abruzzi reviewed the success of this initiative in Pesaro.  The project is financed by the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals and promoted by the Abruzzi Region in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the CTPs in Avezzano, Nereto, Pescara, Popoli, Silvi and Sulmona.

The initiative provides training for foreign citizens ranging from basic Italian to civic education with custom-tailored e-learning modules and innovative didactic materials.
