“The experience was very positive. And the debate involved not only the reference teachers, but also everyone else, leading to a sort of interdisciplinary integration. The students answered well: not just the young women, but also the boys participated with great sensitivity, acquiring basic notions and contributing to the lab discussions.”
Prof. Angela Andolfi from the Liceo Scientifico Blaise Pascal in Pomezia (Rome) describes her experience with Project Gender Equality Matters, underlining its sustainability and summarizing the impact that the educational proposal with a very efficient expression: “GEM became a true gem in our PTOF (three-year curriculum).
School administrators, teachers, parents and educators who wish to extend their opinions and competences on gender equality are invited to participate in the seminar on leadership that will be held tomorrow, Friday, January 29 (2:00-2:30). The webinar will be held by experts from the European School Heads Association (ESHA), a professional organization of school administrators in the Netherlands, a partner of European Project Gender Equality Matters [see news: Leadership Webinar].
