During the Transnational Training Programme course implemented as part of European Project Path to a Job, the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab hosted a couple of sessions with Coach Mauro Del Santo [see programme].
The transnational team was shown how to develop a small digital manufacturing lab to promote self-enterprise, in which participants used a laser cutter and NFC sensors to create simple gadgets such as keychains that can be located by smartphones.
“It doesn’t take much to create a catch product for a small business,” explains Mauro Del Santo. "Daniele Vigo, a young Fab Lab maker was very successful at the Maker Faire with similar products made of plastic. Today, at the Fab Lab we used wood.”
