After Milan and Naples, the all-female Coding Girls Tour promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the American Embassy in Italy, in collaboration with Microsoft, is in Rome.
Today, Tuesday, July 19, 20-30 young women aged 13-23 will be at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym. The students come from Sapienza University and various Roman high schools (Keplero, Matteucci, Darwin, Cannizzaro, Lombardo Radice, Peano) as well as schools in the Province of Rome (Volterra di Ciampino, Via Copernico di Pomezia, Peano di Monterotondo).
The intense programme (1:00 – 6:30 pm) includes a coding session with Coaches Giorgia Di Tommaso and Valentina Gelsomini, as well as team building and problem solving activities.
At 5 pm, a live Skype videoconference will be held with American Coach Emily Thomforde, Code Educator and Steam Specialist.
