The Maker Faire 2014 will be held in Rome on October 3-5, 2014 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be present in various areas: in the meetings area with a workshop held by Alfonso Molina; in the showcase area, with a FMD stand and the prototypes developed by schools; in the Kids&Young area, with coding labs and robotic competitions; in the Fab Lab area, with the two projects that won the Call for Makers and an original all-female Fab Lab, the result of the original innovation-work-school experience for Project The Italian Makers, with Inail Lazio and Cna.

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale stand will present Italian excellence in Robotics, including last generation prototypes built by the students preparing for the next edition of “RomeCup 2015 – Excellence in Robotics in Rome” and ranging from domotics to artificial intelligence. Participating schools: Liceo Democrito (Rome), Liceo Pepe (Ostuni) (BR), Itis Fermi (Rome), ITIS Volta (Frosinone), ITIS Archimede (Catania), ITIS Pacinotti (Fondi).
FABLAB AREA

The Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be present with the Innovation Gym Fab Lab that was inaugurated six months ago at via del Quadraro 102. Novelties reserved for the Maker Faire include the Maker Fashion Project: a fashion show by young designers from the Istituto Diaz in Rome.
