Internet is still sluggish in Italy. Only 50% of Italian actively use the Internet. These are the results provided by a new survey on knowledge and use of the web conducted by Pragma for the CNR Institute of Informatics and Telematics on a sample of 1200 individuals (aged 16-64).
 
Is the digital divide still an infrastructural problem? What is the situation of broadband in Rome and its province?
 
On November 9th, Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, and Francesco Loriga, Sirit Manager for the Province of Rome, participated in a programme on Radio Città Futura, addressing these issues.
