On Saturday, April 28 (3:30 – 6:30 pm), the Phyrtual Innovation Gym will host a lab on creative digital design to help children to understand, manage and communicate their emotions.
The workshop, which will be held by Ilaria La Manna, aims to make the children aware of their emotions and learn how to communicate them creatively by designing an “expressive chair.” They will build it, personalise it and bring it home.
The chairs will be assembled through a press-fit system, which allows the parts to be joined by pressing them together, and then painted. Drawings will be burnt into the backrest with a laser cutter.
The Emosilla chair comes from Latin America and it has toured 21 cities across the world. It has been in Argentina, Boston, Brazil, Dakar, Dubai, Japan and Mexico. Now, it is in Rome, at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym.
