The End of Term Party at the Istituto Pio IX

The Istituto Pio IX Aventino School in Rome, one of the schools involved in Project Digital Bridge, a technological bridge with the Saharawi People, participated in the March trip to the Sahawari refugee camps to meet and learn more about the RASD territories.

The end of year party was held at the school on Saturday, June 5 and amidst music, games and dinner. During the evening, representatives of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the Bambini+Diritti non-profit organization illustrated Project Digital Bridge and participants were able to view the “Sand People” Photo Exhibition narrating life in the Saharawi refugee camps.

The gathering was also an opportunity to present the new www.digitalbridge.info project site, which allows Italian and Saharawi students to exchange didactic material, keep in touch and reinforce the digital bridge that unites them day by day.

Digital Bridge, a technological bridge with the Saharawi People is an e-inclusion project financed by the Lazio Region, coordinated by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and implemented locally by the Bambini+Diritti non-profit organisation.
