After having toured Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Boston, Dakar, Kenya and Dubai, the DIY Emosilla Chair, which helps children to communicate their emotions, is the focus of a lab dedicated to digital making. Last Saturday (March 23), the Phyrtual Innovation Gym hosted children, who with the help of their parents, learned to construct an “expressive” chair that could relate their moods.
Thanks to the FabLat Kids Network, families in Rome, Frosinone, Mexico and Qatar built their chairs together – live and in real-time – expressing great joy, surprise and happiness.
"I skipped swimming to come to the Fab Lab and it’s even more fun here than at the pool!” exclaimed an enthusiastic Teo.
